Join sfAWIS
Women, men, scientists in industry and academia,
professionials, teachers, students, and any who wish to support and
promote women in science are invited to join AWIS.
Benefits of membership include:
- inivitation to sfAWIS members-only events,
- notification of upcoming events on the members-only
announce list,
- subscription to the quarterly National AWIS
Magazine,
- opportunities to participate in AWIS leadership
conferences and national meetings, and access to the AWIS Registry,
a multidiscliplinary database of women in science and technology to
assist in job searches, media inquiries, speaker invitations, review
committees, and government appointments.
How to Join
There are three easy ways to become an sfAWIS member:
- Go to www.awis.org and click
"join AWIS". Fill out the online form, select your
National Membership and California Chapter Membership
categories, and submit.
- Join us at our next event or meeting and talk to the
membership committee. We will be happy to give you
membership information and an application; just look for
the membership table.
